Once a month facials are recommended to help aid in the cell turn over process which happens approximately every 30 days. As we age, this cell turn over process slows down, contributing to dull shallow looking skin, fine lines, wrinkles, blackheads, congestion, and coarsely textured skin. Monthly facials assist your body in doing more efficiently what it is "supposed" to do on its own.

When you arrive, you will be asked to fill out consultation forms. Our facials start with an analysis of your skin and a cleanse. Depending on the facial and your skin care history, extractions, facial masks, hydration and an ultrasonic exfoliation will be performed. All facials are uniquely customized to target your specific care needs.

Slight redness is normal after a facial, due to the ultrasonic exfoliation, chemical exfoliation such as Glycolic or an Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or if you've received a large amount of extractions. Slight irritation may be experienced during these instances; however, it should not continue after your facial treatment has been completed. Certain skin types, especially those who tend to be more sensitive, may be prone to experiencing more redness post treatment.

By filling out a facial form prior to your treatment, Kaila will help you determine the most beneficial facial and customize it specifically for your skin care needs.

A series of facials is the best way to jump-start your skin care maintenance, especially if you're looking for positive results fast! Facial series are generally offered in a series of six, performed at an interval determined by your skin care professional. They are most effective when performed using a chemical exfoliant such as glycolic or a lactic acid. (The exfoliant used will be determined based on your skin care history). Yes! Sugaring and waxing are always down first for the utmost comfort and safety of your skin. Those areas will be carefully avoided during your ultrasonic exfoliation to prevent further irritation of the skin.

Absolutely! Facials are very beneficial for men. It helps address concerns from a lack of proper at home skin care. It can also help reduce skin sensitivity from shaving. We do recommend that you do not shave immediately before your facial, as this can lead to further irritation.
